Neil Hodgson worked his way through the ranks of the European club racing series before eventually catching a ride on the Harris Yamaha Grand Prix team in 1995. After a year of crashing and getting beat up on the burly 2-strokes he made the switch to Ducati World Superbike in 1996. During the next decade, Hodgson would become one of the more successful Superbike racers in Europe. Starting with his British Superbike Championship in 2000 and ending with his World Superbike Championship in 2003, Neil had secured his place as one of the greatest Superbike riders of all time.
