Dicks became a West Ham legend after playing over 250 times in his 10 years at the club. As a player, Julian Dicks was nicknamed 'The Terminator' - his goal was to stop anything the opposition could throw at him. He scored 10 goals for West Ham in the 1995–96 season, which is the best return for a defender in the Premier League. He was voted West Ham's player of the year four times between 1990 and 1997.
