Description

Dom Pérignon 2015 is a vintage that tells a story of contrasts. After a mild winter, the wine season was marked by a glacial start to spring, followed by a hot, dry summer, culminating in the hottest August since 1961. The rain at the end of August allowed the grapes to reach optimal ripeness, leading to a harvest that began on 7 September, under a radiant sun. The nose of this Champagne opens with notes of toast and cocoa, evolving towards a floral bouquet with accents of lime, jasmine and peony, enriched by spices such as anise and cardamom. On the palate, the wine reveals itself to be ample and enveloping, with a delicate yet generous texture, enhancing the freshness of peach and nectarine, accompanied by subtle citrus and gentian notes.
