Description

A historic white wine, introduced in 1931 by Marquis Niccolò Antinori, capable of representing the Tuscan territory through the union of traditional and non-traditional grapes. For this reason, Villa Antinori is first and foremost an idea, a way of conceiving wine production: between experimentation and evolution on the one hand, and historical value on the other. A curiosity. When the wine was born, its production required only the use of Trebbiano grapes. The addition of Chardonnay in the blend dates back to the 1980s, to give the wine additional structure. Superbly vinified, Villa Antinori Bianco presents itself in the glass with a magnificent straw yellow colour with greenish highlights. The nose is immediately intense, with delicate aromas of fresh fruit, such as pear, peach and green apple. All well integrated with delicate sensations of orange blossom. In the mouth, it is soft and has a good freshness and a vibrant, mineral finish. An elegant aperitif white, it goes well with all fish dishes. Grilled, fried, stewed fish... The only limit is our imagination.
